West Plains PFAS groundwater study, Nov. 3, 6 p.m.

Eastern Washington University’s Dr. Chad Pritchard will discuss the area-wide groundwater investigation we are doing with the City of Medical Lake using Ecology grant funding. The study includes groundwater sampling and analysis, model development, and public outreach.

To develop the model, groundwater samples were collected from 30 locations four times a year. Another 160 locations were sampled once. All sampling is completed, and we are working on the final report.

Ecology’s Bri Brinkman will talk about how we are using the data. She and Chad will answer  questions following the presentation.
