Other Ways to Learn
Learn More About PFAS
The Washington State Department of Health has compiled clear, reliable information about what PFAS are, how exposure happens, and what it means for your health. It's a good starting point if you're new to the issue or want to go deeper.
Talk With Your Doctor
PFAS exposure can have real health impacts, and your doctor may not bring it up unprompted. Let them know you have PFAS in your well water and ask what screening or monitoring makes sense for you and your family.
Get Involved
The West Plains Water Coalition is a community-driven effort, and the more voices, the stronger it gets. Attend a free meeting, share your story, and sign up to receive ongoing news and updates about PFAS contamination on the West Plains.
No cost. No Obligation.
Clean water is a community issue, and solving it takes a community effort.
Neighbor Up!
One of the most powerful things you can do is simply talk about it. Many West Plains residents don't yet know their well water may be contaminated, and a conversation with a neighbor, family member, or friend could be what prompts them to get tested. Share what you've learned, point them to this page, and help spread the word.
